Can anyone tell me why my townace only blows cold air through the vents and not hot...could it be an air block?? how can i test??

No water? Blocked hose or matrix? Faulty valve?
First and most urgently, ensure the system is full of water, and not just the expansion tank. Rad cap off, all heater controls to hot, fill up filler neck. Start engine, run at fast idle for a short while. If coolant level dropd, top up filler neck. Repeat as necessary. Be aware that there's barely enough coolant flow at idle to get hot water to the front matrix...

If you start the engine with the rad cap off and a gout of water gushes out, you've got head or gasket problems, and they're causing your lack of heat.

Next stop would be the control valve and it's cable. The valve is under the floor at the front of the vehicle, about a foot behind the bumper, in the middle, IIRC.
