hi all after xmas as most of you are i was skint and yes the head gasket had gone along with heater plugs and the batt all in one week (no wonder i'm bald at 36)any way as a retired mechanic pop of to my local motor factors price up the gear then the question was asked is it a job ian ?? no it's my car sob weep ok then try this it's only £8.00 what is it seal up liquid glass for engines it wont work i say i'll give you you cash back of the gasket if it doesn't he said well 2 hours later rad flushed out re fill pour in the small bottle of copper slip coloured liquid ran on idle for 30 mins quick spin round the block drain off left for 12 hours
re fill an run and do you all know what the best £8.00 quid i ever spent been in a week now no loss of water no loss of heat running temp as it should be aparently this will work with all head gasket probs and more water leaks aswell mine looked to be from the compression chamber to the water chamber as it was blowing out the over folw tube and gassing up in the filler neck when the weater warms up i will do the head gasket but hows that for a quick cock up to tide you over what ever your needs
cheers all and a good new year

Ian, is this the new gear from Wynns, if so, it might last quite a while, it might not, as you say it contains micro chips of ceramic, these re form in the crack in the block or head, to fill in the crack, they don't actually call it a cure for head gaskets, but I guess it could work as well, but if you were suffering from the usual head crack, it probably has cured that. I have had good reports back from Wynns about this product, they have tested it extensively & found it cures most types of head/block crack. But even if it only tides you over until the weather warms up so you can do the head, it's worth the 8 quid. Regards Rob.
