(Home) Model-f fuse question

Hi

Please can someone with a wiring diagram for a model-F tell me what the AM1 80amp fuse (black) behind the driver seat (under the floor hatch, attached to the bulkhead) is for?
I currently have no ignition, just battery light and lights. This fuse is blown. Electrical person coming out tells me he thinks it is an alternator fuse.

Thanks!

am1 is the main fuse for one of the ignition switch contacts. what it covers will vary from model to model, but it looks like the gauge fuse etc. i believe am2 is the actual charging fuse, but the control supplies to the alternator come from am1

This is interesting ! I have recently bought an 88 spacecruiser and the fuses mentioned (behind the driver) have been altered by the previouse owner, I may have fuses of the wrong value in.

As I look at them, the first one is a green 30 amp fuse block, the second is pink and a 40 amp fuse block, and the third (black?)is missing and has an ordinary (small) 30 amp fuse soldered to the ends of spade connectors wich in turn are soldered in place. Can't see why this has been done ? But the fuse has blow several time already.

Should the third fuse deffinately be 80 amps ? That seems an awfull lot ?

Thanks in advance !
