I want to adjust the belts on my 1993 Royal Lounge 2.2.TD. and having real struggle removing the drivers seat. It is electrically operated and does not seem to want to budge. Anyone come across a reluctant electric seat before?

4 x 14mm bolts under the seat front and rear then wangle it out the runner in the middle. remove centre plastic around gear lever and auto trans cable / handbrake cable (chock wheels) and fuel cap cable , unclip wires , remove about 10 x 14mm bolts that hold seat base down and thats it - with practise 15 mins

Many thanks Jim. It was actually my mechanic who couldn't do it and thanks to your encouragement I did it myself! Everthing out, belts adjusted and everything back in about 2 hours on Friday evening all by torchlight. Great website!!

your welcome Chris, its worth knowing u can remove the seat with confidence anyways - next step is cambelt for u i'd say
