I have a 92 Liteace 2.2D. The light in the auto transmission comes on only occasionally, when the gear lever is moved from Park past reverse. Sometimes it stays on then. Most of the time it doesn't work. Any idea on how to access it, or fix it?

take out the four screws holding the console, lift it up, the lamps are accessible beneath

Thanks. Have't had a chance to try it out yet. I will let you know what happens. Obviously the light bulb is ok. Problem must be the connections or switch.
