(Home) Steering

Just had my car MOT'd and had the brake discs/pads/bottom arms replaced. Since I have had it back the steering is behaving very strangly. Feels like it's rolling round left turn corners, weaving and bouncing on the straight and very occasionaly whilst accelarting and changing into 3rd gear whilst coming off a roundabout it skips to the left quite significantly. Took it back and had it checked out by 2 seperate people and no-one can find anything wrong.
Could it be shocks? Seems to bad to be down to shocks though for the little I know about cars!

Bit of a coincidence don't you think Michelle? Who were the two seperate people, from same garage that did the work? Well they would agree wouldn't they? Suggest you take it for an independant check. Suspect the tracking may be out (or worse) as a result of the repair. Is your vehicle a Townace? If so take the relevant tracking info with you (2WD or 4WD) that can be found on AceAnswers.

I had my Masterace 2.0TD 4WD Mot'd today and it passed, but there is slight play in the inner tie rod joint on the steering rack.
Does anyone know if this can be adjusted or will it mean a new rack is required?
Thanks, Dave.

Rack ends can be ordered from your dealer

45503-29235 should be the correct part number
