(Home) Interior lights flicker/door locks

Ok I've looked back through old threads and can't find an answer.
When driving along at say 50-60 with the doors locked and the heater on hot the interior and door lights flicker on and off and the doors unlock themselves. If I open the windows, say quarter inch problem stops. If I put heater on recirc problem stops.
I'm probably barking up the wrong tree, but this suggests to me some kind of internal pressure causing the problem, but that sounds stupid, any thoughts people.
And great site found most useful since buying my Royal Lounge.

Andy, had similar disco effect with mine (don't use the lock), drive along for miles and then it would start flickering. Stop and check all ok open close doors lights go off when they should. Drive along and push the doors nothing, forget it and drive home starts again. Cured mine by packing out the inside of the rubber cover over the door light switch. I don't know if the locking is connected to the door lighting circuit but may be a first step. May be a short but why not all the time?

Thanks for that Clive, I thought it was just me being daft as usual.
I'll give that a try later and post my results.

Andy,
Had the same problem with my royal lounge 1990 around 70 mph as your settings heater etc the light door switch reacts with the locking.
Its internal vacuum putting pressure on the front doors you can check this even parked up by locking the doors and the push or lean against both doors and they should unlock when the interior light tries to come on.
Engine started.

Answer is to adjust offending door striker to tighten door up.
Hope this helps
Phil.
