Can anyone give any advice on misfireing.
Space Cruiser 2litre Petrol.
Garage says it could be one of 4 things.
Head Gasket,HT leads,Spark Plugs or a Valve.

Garage missed distributor.
Does it tickover with misfire, does it go away or get worse with the engine hot?
Have you changed the plugs?
Try disconnecting each plug in turn to see if there is an effect on the misfire. This should narrow it down to 1 plug/cylinder.
If this is a bit beyond your expertise take the easy way out and get a HomeTune around £30ish plus any parts required.

could be plugs, unlikely to be head gasket (virtually bulletproof) but my guess would be carb base gasket,
quite a common fault in cruisers...
