(Home) Front shock absorbers

i keep getting a rattle from the front offside wheel and when i jacked up front i found bottom of shock absorber was missing the lower rubber bush,it looks fairly simple to take out bottom bolt but can anyone tell me if i need to buy the whole shock or can i buy a rubber bush,if so anyone know the part numbers,i have noticed the top of the shocks have a wire connected,is this to do with the hard and soft mode.
be greatful for any advice on matter + i have mot soon.

Should be able to buy the bush certainly from Toyota if not a local factors.
Yes you have TEMS and very expensive shocks - look after them!

The CD shows that the bush is not a seperate part and, TEMS shock absorbers cost me over £100 each last year.
These bushes are probably bonded in but, if the s/absorber is in good condition, as Clive says, a local Factor should be able to come up with a suitable bush. Failing this, a visit to the local breakers yard where they might be able to "match" the bottom eye of the s/a with a bush from another application.

This may help. Replaced the rear tems bushes 3 months ago I think they are the same as fronts.
I can find part number from toyota if you get stuck.
Easy to fit come as one bush a bit of vas they slid in no probs.
Toyota dealer can cross ref for you.
