Hello all,

I am after assistance in tracking down the clips that hold the clear "TOYOTA" section to the front of my vehicle. If you are in any doubt about what I'm referring too, I mean the section between the headlamp units that must be removed to replace the lamps.

I have now got just one from the three small clips that lock this into place at the bottom but my local spares supplier can't seem to source them. Is there any other vehicle that may have them, ie. from a breakers or a part and price of the originals if anybody has bought them.

Toyota main dealer should supply within a couple of days
www.woolies-trim.co.uk may/may not have something at the begining of their catalogue - worth a look

Hi Mark. I was in the same boat as you! You can place the nose piece into the correct position and temporarily hold in position with masking tape. Now run a small bead of silicone sealer in between the headlamp edge and the nose. Leave for a few hours for curing. I used black and it is almost impossible to see it. If you need to remove the cone in the future just slice down the silicone with a very sharp scalple knife. Refix as above. Regards...Ray.

i broke mine a week ago (duhhhh) and used three cable ties one on the top left/right and one in the bottom middle looped through and fastened in the vwnt like part this can be cut off later to remove again if you need to total cost 30p
