Hi can any one help me with a problem with the internal central locking switch ?.When the switch is pressed it dims the dash board lights and the internal lights it has also tripped the electric window relay a time or two when ive pressed it sounds like a bad earth ?.i have also read a few threads about alarms intefering with certain things to do with the central locking switch if this is the case can some one suggest how to put this right ?.and on a final note the door open light on the dash board is lit all the time is this related to the previous problem ?

it's a short of some sort... Check for chafing between door and body, and try disconnecting any alarm.
