Ive just brought a spacecruiser 1986 2litre petrol can anyone tell me:- 1 has it got a cam belt. 2 light keeps coming on dash a picture of an oil can with a wavey line under neath what is it?. 3 any one got an idea of value of vehicle. 4 is the gauge next to temp oil presure because it rises to the top then back down to nothing and stays there.

It's got a timing chain. I can't remember the dash layout (it's only been a year!), but I think its orange for oil level red for oil pressure. And the gauge thinks you have none!
Check oil level, if ok then suspect oil pump dying/failure or a massive leak, should be obvious from the puddles. Could be a duff sender, or if you are very lucky it's just not connected. Don't know how the gauge works.
Value depends mostly on rust, the engines last very well and if the body is ok may fetch up to £3,000. Well something had to cheer you up.

Funny that! I just put in my 1986 Spacecruiser for a Townie and only had £200 part-ex (rust was over £1000 work) AND funnier still, my oil light stayed on. I was told that the sensor in the oil sump needed renewing, but as it cost about £95 to buy a new sensor and then the labour, I didn't bother, knowing that it would have to depart from me soon. Is it silver by any chance? Also, did the electric passenger window work? Has it got stickers from Poland, Netherland, Austria and Germany? Could be my old faithful!!!!!!!

have just purchased townace import and want to put in new stereo but can't work out the wiring to convert from the japanese car wires to the english stereo wires please help!!!!!!

If the original plug is still on, just go to your nearest Halfords or other accessory shop and buy an Autoleads adaptor loom. It's the toyota/ suzuki one IIRC
