Has anyone ever managed to make ice in their icebox? How long is it supposed to take? Mine never seems to get cold enough. The metal plates under the ice cube trays get quite cold (driving on a motorway) but then after half an hour or so warm up again, so I've never managed to get any ice. The Air Con into the car seems to work OK though.

My townie makes ice in half an hour of traveling.I usually put in freeze pops for the kids when taking them on outings.Ihave made ice cubes also in half an hour of traveling.Ican`t give any more information as Ilaeve the engine stuff to my local machanic and friend who is a wizz with my townie I`ll ask him if you want but rob and the other guys usually know their stuff where the townie is concerned.
