(Home) Engine manual

I hate to start aother thread about the manual, but I can't seem to find the answer on 'AceAnswers'.
A simple question.
I have found a manual here in Perth, Western Australia, that looks the same as the one listed, but it refers to the 1C, 1C-T, and 2C motors only.
Is there anything unique to the 2C-T that I should be aware of, or will this manual cover everything I need?

I assume that the only difference between the 2C and 2C-T is the 'hair dryer' on the top - is this correct, or is it more complicated than that?

I don't have the 'part number' for this manual here, but will post it after Easter.

Thanks,
Dave.

(P.S. To any new owners; Before asking about getting a manual, check the AceAnswers link at the top of the page - plenty of info already there.)

Dave. The engine manual which we are able to obtain here in UK is part No RMO25E, and on the cover, it shows that it covers the 1C, 2C, and 2C-T engines. I should think that your manual would give you all the information which you need except, say, coolant feed layout to the turbo, turbo controls etc. I would assume that all the other essential information is standard to both engines

Thanks John.
I haven't checked to see if the 1C-T is a cooled turbo, and hadn't even thought about it. Just assumed that anything 'turbo' would hopefully be close.
It was really the basics of the motor itself, that I was hoping for (2C to 2C-T).

The RM025E manual is not available over here as far as I can find out.
I found this one at a second hand book shop at the Stock Road Markets (for anyone over here) for $15.00 (Aus). They have at least two more still there (but I got the nicest looking one).
I couldn't really justify the cost of getting a manual from over there, with the freight and the exchange rate! Especially with this excellent resource!

The manual has lots of little pointers in it.
Everyone says it is good, but it really is worth getting if you can.

Dave.

1C is the 1800cc unit in the Corolla. Identical other than in capacity to the 2C. That book will cover the townie engine fine as long as you realise that some of the ancilliaries may differ in their placement or spec. Same turbo, different location and plumbing, the earlier ones didn't have a coolant gallery...

David Coombs (see Ace Answers/Manuals) will supply the RM025E by mail order to Austrailia, or anywhere.
