hi everyone i have a hiace super custom 2.4 efi td on start up theres a rattle which stops after about a minit i have been told it,s the hidrolic tappits could any one conferm this ore somthing else thanks pete

Been led to believe this is normal for most deisels whatever brand.
My hiace 2.8 does it - though on mine it gradually gets quieter over the 1st 5miles and disappears when at normal operating temp
Which raises the question - why doesnt mine stop after a minute?
