Hi i'm just in the process of trading in my townace super extra she is on a f reg and has covered 137000km the engine no overheating problems ! it is an 8 seater with 3 point rear seatbelts in grey in fair condition for the year has anyone any idea what she is worth so i can play the game with the dealers. We are looking to get a lucida or equivalent motor. Has anyone got the name of a good dealer in the northwest as its a mine field out there with plenty to choose from ?

There's value and value.
Whatever you may think its worth privately will bare little or no comparison to what a dealer will give you for it.
I have just looked on the Auto Trader web site, there are 50 townie's listed under the nationwide search.
Some are private sales others are dealers, but either way its a good starting point.
I don't think I could take my pride and joy and have her ripped to pieces by some smarmy salesman telling me she's only worth a grand on the "book".
Makes me shiver just thinking about it :)
