(Home) Headlights for france

Hello all

I have looked at Ace anwsers but I can't find how to bend the beam on my head lights. I have a 92 ace 2.0td 2 wd auto, I am driving down to the south of france over night so don't want to risk not adjusting the beam.
The lights r type that has plastic between the headlights and the word Toyota on it.
Many Thanks Dave

Hi - I took the old Spacecruiser to Poland twice, via France, Belgium, Germany. I did not have to adjust the beam because I bought some beam stickers from Halfords. It makes the beam direct in the other direction, but you have to remember to take them off when you come back to UK. The packet tells you how to stick them on your beam - like black triangular stickers.

It's on Ace Answers under bulbs if I recall.
Sticking black tape over the triangular section of the lens I think was the way forward. There are plastic clear and orange types that may do the trick.
The question of replacement has been asked before, I think it went unresolved.

Had a look at the AA web site for regulations in the parts of Europe I'll be visiting. Beam converters are required in some so I ordered a sets of plastic reusable AA "make" converters for £3.99 plus postage.
Not intending on night driving, but if it rains the use of dipped headlights.....
