(Home) S.wales ace owners

hello, are there any townace owners in cardiff or s.wales that can refer me to a non rip off garage for ajob on my diesel pump.It has a slight leak behind what looks like a spring on a triangular shaped flange held on by 3 8mm allen type bolts.I have contacted about a dozen diesel specialists who have talked about new pumps and quote astronomical prices,i am no expert in these matters but i am sure this can be fixed at a reasonable cost. Please can any body help on this matter, dave, townie owner 1 year and counting.

Hi - There's a Diesel Specialist in Mill Parade, Newport. I hear they are good. Also, if you're interested, opposite them is a good non-rip-off place for fixing alternators (used them for my old Spacecruiser).

My Grandfather came from Wales to Perth sometime before WW2.

Name was William Winter, worked a dairy farm in Busselton in Western Australia, then on the wharves, but don't know what he did in Wales.

Always wanted to visit the 'Country of my heritage', but the Ace doesn't swim!

Just had my fuel pump worked on, and I'm happy with the bloke, but it's proabably a bit far from you!

Dave.
