(Home) Radiator flush, oil warning, clutch fluid

Is it safe to use a commercial rad flush on a reconded radiator, also experiencing white smoke at night under pressure, could this be turbo seals, if so how do I get to them, is it an easy job, in the process of replacing valve stem seals etc, as I blew the head last year, had it all skimmed etc replaced bolts etc but she hasn't performed right since, one last question which I know has been answered before but I can't remember reply, what is the little oil can with drip on the dash for and should it be on permanently, if not what has gone wrong now. Thanks Will.

is the oil can red or orange? Orange is the level sensor in the sump, red is the low pressure switch. You really don't want either on.

You can't change turbo seals yourself, um, well, you can, but it's better to get the turbo rebuilt.

No problems with a rad flush tho...

To David Miller, the light is orange at all times and has been on since the head blew and we skimmed head etc, its the small oil can with drip on the righthand side of the dash, if either of these stay permanently on what is the problem, reference clutch for warmbilly, this is a complete new zone to him and he wanted information on where the clutch fluid reservoir is, as it is a hydrolic system. Thanks D.

Clutch uses the brake fluid reservoir at the r/h of the dash. The orange warning light means that either there isn't enough oil in the sump, or the sensor is duff. (It's on the l/h side of the sump...)

Hubbies fault, it is the one without the drip and has the ziz zag line under it, thanks for the info so far, thanks D
