I noticed on one of the acejam photos - http://www.eccentrix.com/members/ukspace/townace/images/AJ0316.jpeg - that on the roof either side of the front sunroof are two upstands. What are these?

I have dents and rust marks on my roof in the same place and I had assumed they were from a poorly fitted sunroof in japan. However I see on the photo a cable coming from them
