does anybody have a spare mirror lens for my Townie ?
It's the old big type mirror......
Some sod smashed mine last night (the casing is fine)

Now get that fixed by August...
On a similar note does anyone have a spare drivers side, normal electric adjusted type, mine is clouding over? And yes I know BBC spares/breakers etc., but I only want the glass not the whole thing!

At the risk of being swamped with requests for bits - I am now the owner of a townie for spare parts should I need them.
As the mirrors are different to mine I would be only too pleased to make them available for fellow townie owners.

I just attempted to do this with my NS door mirror. What a waste of time - the little shafts that attach the motor drive to the mirror glass itself are right b******ds to get back in, and if you try it you'll more than likely do what I did and bust the glass due to force necessary to get them pegged in. Better by far to replace the whole lot - three screws and a lead to plug in. Wish I'd been content to drive about with a silver mirror on a gold Townie! Grrrr
