you'll need to help us here. Year and model?

Although for most, you just remove the acess panel under the dash...

On my H- reg I did it by removing the nose radome (3 screws) first then the side light (prise out carefully forwards), after which you get the headlamp out.

I have the same problem as Alan's question. Mine is a 1990 Masterace surf 2wd, is there any other specific instructions that would help me for replacing my front headlight.

My daughter has a 97 mustang and the headlights are nearly usless. Can any one tell me how to clean the inside of the lens? Car is v-6 manual trans.if it helps.

Hello Drew,

Although you should have perhaps started a new thread, I too have a 1990 Masterace Surf. In order to gain access to the front headlamp unit you will need to remove the philips screw on the side of the side light unit and prise it forward. Twist the connector and unplug it to get the unit out of your way. You should have the front clear "TOYOTA" panel as mine has. To remove this you need to locate 3 spring clips in the lower grill section that need to be pinched together. You will now be able to pull the central panel out. You should then see the 10mm bolts that hold the headlamp unit in place on either side of it.

The spring clips are a little tricky and quite delicate, I only have one left working.

Thanks Mark for the info, im going to try it tomorrow. Sorry about the new thread thing, I'm still trying to get the hang of how to use this site.
