(Home) Owner reunited

im just hoping and preying that no one buys my townie next week, cause if it dont go i'm having it back, hoooooooray, its been in the garage for 6 weeks and not one person has taken a look at it,price has been dropped £100,per week, its at £4500 now and im just preying it dont go.i know it has to go some time as its too big for our needs now,but the little escort is too small, kids feet in my back when drivin, god thats so annoying and no room to take my mates on holiday with us.so after much sulking and whinging by me i've managed to convince her who wears the trousers (god bless her and the ground she walks on)that getting rid of it is a bad move at the moment.plus her friend down the road has just bought one and she keeps telling wify that she should have kept ours, which is true of course.so i might be a happy boy again soon,i'll let you all know and thanks for your concern at my sad loss of my beloved townie the other month.

you ain't trained 'er in doors' properly have you dave?
my boss says i gotta go before the townie does, but thats the way to train 'em. you've got to let them think the're in charge and know it all, and then you,ve got 'er round your little finger!!! and if she insists on wearing the trousers, just keep calling her a crossdresser and she'll get the message. either that or start wearing her skirts.
good luck
brian

waiting on the drive way when i got home from work.my townie returned safe and sound.for those who dont know the story, well we decided to sell it,too big, kids grown up ,dear insurance etc etc.well off it went to a local forecourt to be sold.only one person had a look, so after 6 weeks of driving around in a boy racer escort, the pride and joy returned cause the garage owner could'nt sell it and was taking £100 off each week,so the price was dropping alot and we did'nt want to give her away,so she's home where she belongs.cant wait to go for a drive now.
has any of the listers used the garage at crews hole rd,st'george bristol for repairs as i need to get the injecters looked at,bit smokey and also judery on tick over.i've heard they are a decent garage, but would like secound opinion. cheers

Glad to know you are re-united! I read your other messages and I am sure that although the kids are big, they will want you to carry something for them. I have done fridges, washing machines and even 3-piece suites and double beds. This should come under Aceanswers under, "Faithful as a dog". Your townie is so true to you and only you, that it did not want anybody else to have it.

Whilst parked at the maltings in Ely recently, just sitting in the back with the seats facing each other, my wife and i were watching the boats chugging along the river when a woman stuck her head in the door and said "i do apologise my dears but i forgot to bring any wine for you to drink" at which my wife promptly replied "that's ok my dear we've got some in the fridge in the front". The look of awe in the womans face was worth every penny we paid for our townie
