Purchased a 1989 Town Ace 113,000km.Seems in good running order, perhaps a little tatty body, but no rust.
Can anyone give me some basic advice on things that i should perhaps check out prior to hitting some big mileages.
The car is nicknamed 'The Slug' for obvious reasons but it's all i want in a MPV at this budget

The best advice you can be given is to read the aceanswers website which has saved me no end of trouble and money thanks to the expertise and dedication of your fellow townie owners.
