There is no water coming out of the front washer jets. The back is operating okay. When I do operate the front washer water comes out underneath the washer tank. How do I get to the tank and pump(s) as it may be a loose or split pipe!

Model is 1992 "Super Extra" Town Ace.

Interior trim out, is the only way - detailed on Ace Answers. As water is getting out pump may be ok so your thought of split/loose pipe may be right.

Many thanks. Problem now fixed - the pipes had parted company and it was just a question of pushing them back together again.

Really easy to strip out the off-side interior trim at the rear, just a question of being careful! It all went back in just as easily. The longest job was finding the pipe that had come adrift........


Anyway I can now see out of the windscreen again!

Has anyone fitted headlamp washer jets to their Townie?
What jets did you use (would need a spray patern rather than a jet of water to clean the lights) and was it a simple job to do?
