I have searched Ace Archives to find out how to remove the dash. Other threads have indicated that 'how to' is there, but I can't find the info.
I need to check the connections for the washer. When the wash button on the stalk is pressed no water is jetted to the front screen, but, strangely, it operates the rear screen washer. ???

There is only one pump with a switch to direct to front or rear. Try switching the pipes around and if the fronts work it will be the pump switch/solenoid that is faulty. This will suffice for the MoT.
If the fronts don't work at all, try a gentle blow through, will give you some idea of blockage or not, and help you decide if the dash needs to come out. It is a long a tedious task, the whole lot needs to come out to get anywhere near the pipes, and then it's still finger tips in places.
Done it on a Spacecruiser but not on the TownAce yet.
Have a look at John Corfields project in the bodywork section, note in the behind the dash photos you still can't see the washer piping!
