Converted to Toyota 2cTurbo and problem is as follows:

1) Looking for these spares that could be readily available in South Africa.

2) Converted Oil Filter using Hydraulic pipes because
chassis on '86 Mazda too narrow to accommodate
original filter. Is this safe and recommended.

3) Locked fan cause felt it was needed and removed thermostat. iS this safe and recommended.

Please treat urgent.

How did you mod the oil filter? Remote mount?
I wouldn't lock the fan- it seems that the viscous coupling actually works pretty well in the hotter conditions, and locking it may cause the fan blade to overspeed, with possible catastrophic failure...
