I have 4*4 1990 towni without coolbox, is it difficult,possible to fit one can anyone help please

I just bought a small (6ltr?) 'Ring' brand one - sprayed it with dark dashboard grey so it blends in. Put velcro (coarse bit) on the feet so it grabs the carpet.
Think its draws 3 amp / 35 watt. As the aux socket is isolated when ignition key is out (on hiace) there is no danger of flattening the battery.
This doesn't answer your question but its a cheaper and simpler alternative if your original plan doesn't come together.

Nearly impossible to add as a 'retro fit' as it is powered by the air con as well as the battery, better to do what Chris suggested & get an electric coolbox, won't freeze your ice cubes, but if you get one oif the hot/cold boxes will keep the beers cool & curry hot.
