Hi, Can anyone give me some advice on my front driver's side brakes. For some reason the brake keeps sticking and hubby has had a look given them a clean checked the fluid and and the pads(or whatever they are)(you can tell im no techie). He thinks its the release value but cant remember the techie name for it as we go have a dealer down here who does parts.

Are the caliper sliding pins free? Might need cleaned and regreased.

I had this on a couple of different vehicles that had little use. Not a repair a such but my solution at the time was to work the brake piston to and fro a few times past the theoretical binding point. Using the vehicle regularly helped also. Replacing the brake fluid may be a worthwhile job too
