(Home) Townace windscreen washer

I have a 91 Townace and could do with a handbook. In the absence of same can anyone tell me please:

Where do you put the windscreen washer fluid and I presume the Dot 3 cap in the dash board drivers side is for break fluid??

Where getting there! Slowly. Actually its fun trying to sort it out and wife keeps doing Tenko impressions while I lie underneath trying to look casual!!!

Open the back door and look on the back right hand side of the van above the tail light and you will see the cap for the washer fluid. Took me a while to find it also.

It is amazing how many people that trips up.
It took me a while, but I used to own a Tarago (Aussie Market 'spacecruiser, van, whatever') and the front washer bottle was in the floor under the passenger carpet! The rear bottle on that one was only for the rear squirter.

And yes, the bottle just inside the driver's door is break fluid. If it is a manual, it is also for the clutch. An interesting thing is that the clutch side is higher than the brakes, and runs dry first - I guess the theory is that if you run out of clutch fluid you can't go, which is better than running out of brake fluid and finding you can't stop!

Much of the info is available in the Tarago - model F handbook from Gregory's or similar - if you are in Australia.
It is only the engine, fuel system, and a few other engine related bits that aren't covered. I assume that the Spacecruiser manual would likewise be of some help?

Finally, if you haven't found it yet, try clicking on the "AceAnswers" link at the top of the page - it takes you to the full resources of the board of knowledge, a veritable treasure trove of AceInfo!
