last year i brought my 2.2 td auto townace which i quickly fell in love with, it is a great car do anything go any place you want to take it in
in feb of this yea i had a stange noise so called out my breakdown they towed me to there recomended garage. the garage got back to me about a week late saying the end of my crankshaft was damage and the main pulley was written off but they could offer 3 different repairs two of which they never came up with a quote and didnt know if they could one they knew they could do and assured me it would work 5 weeks later £800 bill car back
45 days later mmm big bad noise
so had my townie towed back to them to be told they were not giving a warrenty on the work because they had used chemical metal to fill the keyway on the crank shaft
have your car and money back we aint touching it
at this poing it look close to a rite off new engine if i could get one then i found a toyata import garage oh some luck
well last week i got my car back she is wonderful and my claim to fame is i have the fisrt and only imported crankshaft from japan for the 3ct engine a small £750
total bill to fix the first garages botch job was £2270 ouch but im a happy man
and all the engineers reports taken during the repair put the blame on the first garage
so it is all in the hands of my solicitor and fingers crossed i will recoupe some of my money

the moral is if you dont think the gharge know what they are doing they probably dont
