i have a 1990 g masterace surf with a rear layout of mid seats 2 + 1 and back row of 1½ + 1½. i removed the single seat just inside the door, ie. the 1, but would now like to re fit it but i have lost the bolts. my helpful toyota dealer has told me they cannot tell me any details about them because "blah, blah, blah it's an import". i have tried 8mm, 10mm 3/8unc, 3/8unf, 7/16unf without any success. any assistance appreciated (cr21g mezx).

Hi Mark.
What you could do is remove a bolt from your other mid seat, and check if it fits the thread of the removed seat. If it does then do a search on yell.com for "nuts and bolts" and take the bolt to the nearest stockist and ask them if they have any. If they don't, they should be able to tell you what thread it is.

CD lists it as standard part 9011910644.
Dave's idea of taking one from the 2 seat and getting that matched is likely to be the cheaper option.
Surely Toyota could have looked up the bolts as I did?

M10 fine, 14mm head. You'll probably have trouble buying them from anywhere other than a Japanese vehicle dealer- Euro standard is 1.5mm pitch, the japs use 1.25. Or go to the scrappie and remove yourself four...
