(Home) Engine won't even fire

By the way if JIM (you teach mechanics i believe, Oh an you sold me a SPILLER LINE) I'VE LOST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!.
Me & the mech have stripped down and replaced nearly everthing, went to start up yesterday, beld the fuel etc etc and all it does is TURN OVER no firing, no popping, nothing just turns over, I've got a mobiliser but that seems to working ok. The heater for the fuel is also working (according to the dash) and one other thing is that we have NOT touched any electrics, so why won't it even sound as if its firing?
A diesel mech (but hes gone now) said we were 2 clicks out of timing but we rectified that..any ideas???
I have a townace 2.ltr and everything i have replaced is NEW NOT secondhand, rings/big little ends/head/fuel lines

There is NO fuel heater. The indicators on the dash are for glow plugs and water in fuel...
What have you done? Head job?
Have you primed the pump and injector lines? Is there voltage to stop solenoid and glow plugs (don't just go by the warning light...)?
2 clicks out on the timing? Dunno, on some diesels that would be enough to bend valves...

I'd guess either a wire off to the glow plugs, or you haven't bled the injector lines.
