hi i'm phil just bought an estima can anyone tell me what oil filter to get and why the oil change light won't go out after changing the oil

Okay Phil, I've just changed the oil on my Estima that I purchased a couple of months ago. My local Motor factor (The Motorist Centre) get filters from a firm called Blue Print.The part number is ADT32115. As for the oil change light not going out, I'm not too sure. Mine had the same thing happen, so what I did was to put some engine flush in and run the engine as per the instuctions on the bottle. I then added semi synthetic turbo diesel oil as it will still lubricate at higher temperatures (but is not nearly as expensive as fully synthetic oil!). Finally, as added protection, I put in STP oil additive. It's pretty gloopy stuff, but I have put it into my Liteace, and with 103,000 km's on the clock it still runs sweet as a nut. (Except when cold as it judders ever since I had the Timing belt replaced, but that's another story!)
