Bit late, but while browsing for info on where to obtain Dinitrol I found this site. I used the same name product in 1964 on an Ariel Arrow. I sold the machine in 1991, in perfect condition.
I used Waxoyl in 1976 on all the cavities on my Escort Estate. In 1980 the bottom seam which joins the floor, the inner sill, the outer sill and the seatbelt mounting reinforcing plate fell off both sides.
Perhaps they improved it since then.

Waxoyl may not be the best, and it needs to be reapplied at least every other year, but it is easy to get and use as a DIY application.
The local Morris Minor restoration garage use it and that's good enough for me.
I wouldn't like to comment on Fords and rust.....
