Q1
4 clip on covers to base of 'legs' held on with a screw - then all should be revealed - never removed my seats though and not something I would want to do too often - think they are held on the sliders with 4 nuts which may be fiddly to put back on.
Q2
75/90 - think 80/90 is better for the transfer box on 4wds (I used semi-synthetic 75/90 on rear axle)
Q3
Pop to local motor factor/accessory shop and ask for a bottle of coolant flush - follow instructions - make sure you flush out well with a hose after and refill 'slowly' with 40%+ antifreeze mix - if you don't drain the block expect the mix to push out upto 3 litres of clear water from hoses disconnected to side of block.
If its not too bad though, a hosepipe through various parts of the system (both ways) may suffice before refilling with a good mix.
