I have just picked up my bus,A 1990 HiAce 2.4 turbo diesel supercustom auto, When overdrive is switched off
a orange light is indicated on the dash, when overdrive
is selected the orange indicator dash light flashes on for about 2 seconds and then off for about 2 second continuously. Is this normal or is there a fault, the van drives great and the overdrive appears to work o.k.

sounds like a fault... I'd disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the system and then retry. It's possible that someone has disturbed some wiring. eg Has the speedo been converted???
If it comes on again, I can post info on reading codes out of the controller...

I have just bought a 1992 Hiace Super Custom Limited 2.4 turbo deisel I have had a new timing belt fitted but Can't find out how to turn t/belt warning light out. This has the electronic dash, anyone got any ideas
