(Home) Suspension anti-roll bar rubbers

First of all thanks to all members who helped with the caliper. I highly recommend New Forest Auto Factors for reconditioned parts as our caliper came back like new and even had a new bleed nipple on it in all.

Now I have a fail sheet and they say I need to replace both the Front and Rear Anti-Roll Bar Rubbers. I was wondering whether the bent bar under the seats was the anti roll bar and secondly are they the brushes or someing different. I looked in here earlier and there is a bit on Brushes so that may help!!

Sorry Im so thick as to not know where they are but Im used to UK cars and not imports. Plus I dont want to pay the extortionate rate the garage wants to charge me!! Front pads needed replacing but Halfords have them ordered for tomorrow pm and no probs fitting I dont see!!

Cheers all.

Graham.

The front stabiliser bar as Toyota call it goes from front wheel to front wheel. It has rubber bushes at each end and two where it is bolted to the box sections under the floor pan. The back has a similar arrangement plus a few stabiliser bars. You need to know which (all?) of these the station is talking about. The cost from Toyota is not that much but there may be a delay in getting them. There have been postings of using PTFE tape to take up the slack or taking the old one to a motor factors and getting a near fit that needs a little adapting.
Best of luck.
