I have a 93 Toyota Townace Super Extra 2.0 Diesel Turbo. My dashboard is lit up like a xmas tree with all warning lights and the buzzer going. I've changed the altenator and the battery checks ok so its been suggested that its the regulator. But no one can find it!!! Please could someone tell me exactly where I should expect to find it in a way that makes sense to someone who doesn't know that much about cars. Also if you could let me know roughly what the regulator costs it would be well appreciated.

The most common place is behind the glove box under the dash.
Have a look on Ace Answers - Some are repairable at a fraction of the replacement cost.
