(Home) Fuse boxes

Can someone please tell me where all the fuse boxes
are located in a Town Ace?

Many thanks

Bob,
Go to Ace answers http://mpvi.net/ia/indexarc.htm open the "dashboard & electrics folder", then open the "Other electrics folder" and scroll down to the "fuse" postings. this will have all the information you need.

I have a drain on my battery & have isolated the cause
to the fuse described as serving 'DOME'.
Does anyone know what this circuit entails?

Interior lights front, rear and the door switches. Suspect you have either a light that does not turn off or a short in the wiring somewhere. The side door step light has proved to be a bit of a rascle on both my Spacecruiser and Townace.
Does the door open light stay on with ign off?

Thanks Clive. I can't see any interior lights on when
all switched off. Is there a relay somewhere that might
be faulty? If so, do you know where it is located &
how to identify it?
I also tried removing the fuse to try & stop the drain
but the car would not fire so I presume there is
someting else key in the circuit.

One other thing though, when traveling I always get the
'door open' warning even thogh all is securly shut.
Could that be anything to do with it?

Hello Bob
The door open indicator could be the tailgate. If you open the drivers door and then use the button to unlock all the doors, this also unlocks the tailgate. The unlocked tailgate also brings on the door open light.
If that’s not the case, then turn the ignition on and go round each door in turn and press the sprung loaded switch on each to see if the light goes out.
You could also check the bulb in each interior light. May be there is a short, in one of them and the last owner removed the bulb.

Good stuff from Dave.
The door open light will be on unless you lock the doors from the drivers door, with the ign on and doors shut as in driving. If you are doing this then there is a short somewhere.....
