(Home) Oil pressure indicator (Sp+)

hi

i have three yes three space cruisers and i have a question regarding the oil pressure indicator
at 2500 revs it sits just at the min point of the operating range - i changed the oil when i bought it and did an engine flush and put in semisynth. My question is - where is the device/sender that connects to this gauge from the engine. It is an e reg 2 litre space cruiser. Also can i use a sender off an earlier a reg cruiser - ' my sparesmobile'???

On my old F reg one it was on the housing that the filter screws onto, should be able to swop them over.

thanks for that!
where does the sender connect to? directly to the gauge or via something else?

just a note to say i swopped the pressure indicator sensor/sender over with a good un off my working vehicle and it turns out the low oil pressure reading is because the sender was faulty. the faulty one reads low on my good vehicle. so engines good phew!!!
