Has anyone got any advice on removing the starter motor on a 3ye petrol engine townace I have a starting problem but all the answers on the board are for deisel engines! am I the only one with a petrol ?? LOL

Just the same disconnect battery etc.. Only the starter is on the other side of the engine IIRC.
Comments on stripping the starter and contacts etc. will refer to both types.
