I am considereing changing our spacecruiser for a townace. The new Townace I have seen has only lap belts in the rear seats. Is there any way of fitting cross over belts to the back outer four seats? If so would the spacecruiser belts do? I could do to know asap.

Yes the Spacecruiser belts will do. Note that there may not be any upper points to bolt to. Have a read of the archives, many posts on how/what was done.
Also consider getting them fitted, supply the belts yourself may keep the price down, if the fitter is happy to fit used belts!

See Ace Answers, Archives, Bodywork, Seats, Seat belts. My '91 Townace had holes for the fixings but no threaded inserts. I have fitted Securon belts there. Securon sell threaded reinforcement plates to fit behind the holes. The big investment is the time, not the cost of the belts.
