It is with great sadnes that I have to report the demise of our Townie. Whilst my wife was at the wheel today, 'White Van Man' (well this one was blue, but the principle is the same) struck, he cut her up, forced her to swerve, she hit another vehicle (an inferior Zafira), and the guy that caused the crash buggered off.
The result, a badly damaged Zafira, and the N/S/F corner of our beast damaged beyond repair. Insurance assessors have already looked at it & said 'looks bad mate!' so I will see whether they write it off, then decide whether I buy it back, get it fixed, break it up or insist they repair it.
Temporarily I have pulled the damage out, refixed the headlamp in place & taped everything together with outdoor see through tape, so that my wife can still carry the four kids around in it.
Will keep you all posted.

Very sorry to hear that Rob, hope your good lady is OK... Tell her next time to make sure she clobbers the culprit instead!

& the kids if they where in it..
How bad is the damage ??
