should my newly purchased g reg masterace surf have central locking? I can open the drivers door fine and have to open the rest either manually or bu the door unlock switch. Mind you i have noticed that the buttons are a little snaggy could they just need somw wd40. Also my drivers side electric door mirror is not there, where is the best place to get one from?

Hi David your central locking is working ok if you open your door with the key. that is all that opens! you have to open the rest with the switch on the door control panel. but when you lock your door with the key it should lock all doors.If you fit an alarm with door remote as I have then you only need the remote to do the lot. try BBC spares there is a link on the site he has mostly sorted what I need

Anti Hijack, most japanese cars only unlock driver's door from key or remote, then you unlock the rest via a door switch, as for the mirror, try BBC Spares or any of the other suppliers shown in Ace Answers.
