I Own a townace 1994 3CT. What is the diffrence between 3CT and 2CT apart from 3ct=2.2cc and 2ct=2.0cc I am asking because I need to replace head gasket. I have been told that a 2ct will fit a 3ct but unsure help please.

I believe that the bore is the same on 2C and 3C, only the stroke differs. In which case the HG's should interchange; but I believe there are less problems with th 3C's gasket, maybe it's engineered differently?
