I have front main beam and bright beam but no dip or dashboard light, or rear lights or break lights but my revers lighs work. all happened today for no apparent reason. any ideas?

Could be one of the fusible link behind & underneath the driver's seat. Take a look at Ace Answers for more details of how to get at them.

where is tyhe fusible link situated exactly. the only thing behind my drivers seat is expantion tank. amay car is a lite ace

Thanks found a simple fuse under the steering wheel for all lamps etc, now my wife will stop nagging hopefully
