for all those who post with mechanical problems,ive found a garage that specialises in townace repair in Featherstone w.yorks.His name is P.Askew and he towed my townace in and is stripping and rebuilding the engine for £600 inc.Ill give his phone number to persons who e-mail privatly as he has indicated that he would not take kindly to people ringing to pick his brains so to speak,but will quote for genuine repairs.
