(Home) 1974 hiace doors

I have just bought a 1974 Hiace Motor Caravan. i also own a Townace Royal Lounge.

I need two new doors for it as they are rotten to the core. Does anyone have any contacts they would like to share with me that may be able to help me source body panels?

Many Thanks

Carl

It may be worth trying one of these scrappies that source nationwide - alternatively a cut out the rot and weld in new steel project? - maybe some new door skins could be sourced?
Also might be worth trying on the 'classics' forum on

A long shot - but did you try toyota dealer?
I used to read the 'practical classics' mag and it did demonstrate that the most moth eaten, rotten, disintegrating panels could be rebuilt (time permiting).
Sorry I have no direct contacts, but good luck with the search

The climate control in my Masterace is not working. The temperature control does not operate the control in the passenger footwell. I can switch between hot and cold by pushing or pulling the valve cable. Air con works ok and I can hear the fan on one of the sensors running. Is there a relay that I have not prodded with a paperclip or is it the 'solenoid' on the control.

Anyone tell me where i can find a second hand carb for a RH1800 Toyota engine from 1983. or put me in contact with the Toyota Hiace camper Club, if there is one.

Should be able to get the original reconditioned or get a replacement for a carb specialist.
