I have an Manual 89 Town Ace. Whenever I put a heavy load on the engine it begins to stall. With light pressure on the accelerator I have no problems. Any ideas?

Hello Jackson,
This could be any number of things, and it would help if we knew whether its diesel or petrol. You could start with a new fuel filter and air filter, when was it last serviced? What sort of mileage does it have? It could be the injectors, or a leaky injector pump, any sign of a diesel leak perhaps?

Concur with Dave, sounds like fuel starvation. May also be timing.
